“We had a great time in Contamines and Chalet Mont Blanc played a huge role in that. Starting from our initial contact with Kim, who was helpful and friendly, and the warm welcome we received from FX and Corinne, we knew we were off to a good start. The chalet was super and perfect for our needs. Loads of rooms and comfortable beds, plenty of toilets and bathrooms for a big group like ours. The location was great, in town but on a quiet street, and we enjoyed all the facilities, including the sauna and jacuzzi, the garden and sun room, the comfy living room and the dining area with enough room for all of us to eat together. The kitchen was clean and extremely well equipped, so that cooking and eating in after a long day was also a pleasure. All in all we had a fantastic time, and now we just need to decide whether we’re brave enough to return in winter!” – Daniel

“Great house in great location! Very helpful host, Kim, prior to our visit and also local host very responsive and friendly. Lots of space, very well equipped and comfortable. Incredible view and a sit on the sun deck were the icing on the cake after a day’s skiing. Hot tub and sauna not to be missed. Short walk to village centre, short drive to main lift, also next to nursery slope which had floodlight skiing a couple of evenings during our stay. We had a lovely time, thank you. House exactly as described, very spacious and comfortable. Quiet but convenient location. Super helpful and responsive before and during our trip.” – Joanne

“Being part of an organisation who has previously used the chalet, I booked the chalet for 2 weeks and was very happy with our stay there.
The location is excellent for different abilities of skiers, with a green slope directly outside the rear of the chalet, which also offers weekly night skiing. And it is a short shuttle bus ride to catch the lift up the mountain to the resort.
The chalet was perfect for a large group of us, with plenty of space in the living room making it a very sociable area, especially with the large open wood fire on an evening.
The chalet was clean and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals for everyone on an evening.
We loved staying at the chalet and felt well looked after on our trip.

“You cannot find a more perfectly situated ski in ski out villa in les contamines. I was blown away with what we got for our buck. It is more than comfortable with 15 people and the charm and character of the place is very special, not to mention the amazing carpentry work that has gone into the place giving you that five star feel. I would highly recommend this to anyone thinking of skiing in the alps.

“We travel frequently through France and we are yet to find such a perfectly situated chalet for a summer holiday. The chalet can accommodate a lot of people and is great with a large or small group of friends. We loved that we could do so many mountain hikes directly from the chalet. The town centre is 5 minute walk, perfect for the morning “croissant run”. The jacuzzi and sauna were a welcome treat after an enjoyable day spent in the mountains. The chalet is family owned and well maintained and the kitchen is perfectly equipped to do all your own catering. There is a fantastic market on a Tuesday morning in the village – a great opportunity to pick up beautiful fresh produce for some French cooking. It really feels like home away from home, what a treat.

“This is the 3rd time we have stayed in this lovely chalet, and it definitely won’t be the last. The chalet is in good condition and has all the amenities you would want for a winter ski trip, or for a relaxing summer break in the Alps. For skiing, you are located within 30metres of the nursery slope, and the Telecabines up to the main slopes are 5 minutes away. The area has plenty to offer in the summer too. I personally loved the vast selection of hiking options right from the front door. Les Contamines has an array of bars, restaurants and shops. Definitely treat yourself one evening and dine at L’O à la Bouche.” – Paddy_OCoogan

“Just got back from a summer Holiday in Les Contmines, stayed at Chalet Mont Blanc for a week. What a fantastic holiday, the town is surrounded by mountains, there are lakes within walking distance, and Chamonix and Annecy are both short drives away. I would recommend a visit to the glacier near Chamonix. The Chalet itself was great, with wifi to keep in touch with the world (if you chose) and great facilities for relaxation, hot tub and Sauna! “An amazing week spent at Chalet Mont Blanc! The small village of Les Contamines is perfectly situated between the scenic mountains of the French Alps, it is absolutely beautiful, and everywhere you look reminds you of a postcard. The locals are friendly, and there are a number of shops for basic amenities and restaurants should you wish to indulge in the fine local cuisine. There are plenty of hiking trails, as well as shorter walks and beautiful lakes to dip in and cool off. Day trips to Chamonix and Annecey are highly recommended! The old town of Annecy, is exquisitely beautiful and has Venice feel to it, whilst Chamonix is at the foot of the glacier. Chalet Mont Blanc, is truley a luxurious self catering chalet, with everything you need. The Jacuzzi is amazing and it’s very handy to know there’s wifi! I would highly recommend a visit to Chalet Mont Blanc!!” – L.W.S

“We are avid skiers and have stayed in various chalets until we were fortunate enough to come across Chalet Mont Blanc, we have enjoyed two holidays there and it has been an absolute pleasure. The chalet is well situated, in walking distance to the town, is adjacent to a nursery slope for beginners, and a short bus ride away from the main slopes. The Chalet is spacious, and very comfortable, and is well equipped with anything that you may need during your stay. I look forward to going back to Chalet Mont Blanc for the next season” – V.W

“We all thoroughly enjoyed staying at Chalet Mont Blanc and would highly recommend it and Les Contamines as a place to stay. The Chalet, particularly the kitchen, is very well equipped There is lots of space and it is very comfortable with lovely big sofas to relax in in the evening. A big plus for us- two families with five teenagers- was lots of bathroom space and hot water when we came back at the end of the day- no queues! It is only two minutes from the town centre and one minute from the free bus to the main ski lift. There is also a small training run and a half pipe right next to the chalet which would be great, although as we were staying very late in the season after a bit of a heatwave it meant this was no longer in operation! All in all we had a great holiday and would definitely stay in Chalet Mont Blanc again.” – R.L
